GTA Online for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 ends -apkrig

One day it had to come. GTA Online for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is ending. Its servers will be permanently silenced on December 16, Rockstar Games announced. As development continues on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and the authors are preparing an expanded and improved next-gen version, there is no point in further supporting the original platforms.

Shark cards for the PS3 and X360 versions of GTA Online will also stop selling on September 15th. Of course, shutting down servers has no effect on GTA V and its storyline. Along with GTA Online, the statistics on the Rockstar Games Social Club will end, not only for the game, but also for Max Payne 3 and LA Noire.

The developers thanked the community of players for their support looking forward to continuing on the new platforms. Unfortunately, it is not possible to move a character or money from a Shark card to the new system. It should be added, however, that new content has not been published for some time for GTA Online on the oldest consoles.

GTA Online was launched in October 2013.
