Google Weather app now available on Android tablets
Google has now also made the Google Weather app available for Android tablets. At first this app only fully worked on Android smartphones. People with an Android tablet can now enjoy a more detailed view of the weather conditions.
Google Weather
Google Weather was already available on Android tablets, but it was limited. This has been changed in an update from Google now. The new search result will now show more detail about the weather. It works like this: in the Google search bar you type in your place of residence. At that moment you can already see the current weather conditions. However, if you now click on ‘Humidity, wind and more every hour’, you will end up in the Google Weather app. You can now get even more information about the weather from here. For example, you get to see the time when the sun rises and sets, you can see the wind direction and wind speeds at any time of the day and the possible rainfall is also described in detail.
A disadvantage at the moment, however, is that as soon as Google Weather is opened, it is shown on your tablet in portrait mode. It is not yet known whether Google Sweater on tablets will also be available in landscape mode at a later date. In the video and in the photos below you can see how it will look on Android tablets.
Availability
The new feature was discovered by people at 9to5Google, who say it is the version 13.22.12.26 of the Google app. The website also reports that they are not sure when Google rolled out the feature. At the editorial office there is currently one tablet on which we can see the new and more detailed weather conditions of Google Weather. This concerns the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
