Google removes famous Android statues at headquarters
Google has removed the well-known statues of the Android characters from its headquarters in Mountain View. A new image was added every year of many Android versions. But where are they now?
Where are the Android images?
We know the images from the Android images that were placed at Google’s headquarters in the American Mountain View. With the arrival of Android 1.5 Cupcake, the first image was shown, the last image was displayed with the arrival of Android 9 Pie. All in the style of the sweet name that those Android versions have been given. With the arrival of Android 10, sweet names were no longer added to Android versions for the consumer; for developers though.
It is now striking that the images appear to have been removed. This message is confirmed by several reviews left by visitors at googleplex, the name of the main building. It is not known why Google removed the statues. It is possible that Google has removed the images to polish them. Previous reviews indicated that the statues were poorly maintained. It could also be that Google says goodbye to the images, although Google has not shared anything about this.
