Google periodically stops working. What with this?

Owners of Android phones of various brands began to report massive problems with applications from Google again today (the last time this happened a week ago). In particular, the basic one, responsible for searching, very often falls and reports “Google application stops working regularly”. Alternatively, a little differently on mobile phones of various brands. In any case, this is a problem that obviously affects a large number of people, as evidenced by social media contributions. On Twitter, Google also admitted the trouble. The latest version of this tool, which is gaining ground in its processes, seems to be to blame. What can be done in this situation?

What do we advise you?

The following points, which come to us most sensible, are ranked from the simplest and less invasive to the more complex. Try to go gradually and see if the problem can be solved. It may disappear within a few hours as soon as Google fixes it in the next update. You can also consider checking the timeliness of the application as the zero point of this manual.

Option 1 – Switch the phone off and on

Yes, an old Ajťá classic, but it is very often that the easiest and most effective thing you can do. Possible problematic processes will end (which is the case) and for some phones this step may be enough.

Option 2 – Uninstall updates

You may not know it, but you can uninstall updates for almost everyone in the application manager. This means that you can return the application to the version in which it was originally released with your phone. When you move on to this option, you can problems with the older but stable version. To uninstall updates, go to Settings> Applications> specific application tab (Google in this case)> the three dots at the top right.

Option 3 – Clear application data from memory

This way seems to work for a lot of users. On the application tab in system settings, just click Storage (the item may be named differently on different systems) and clear data, which the application has saved to your mobile phone so far. If you are not sorry to lose them, you will most likely solve the problem.

Option 4 – Shut down or uninstall the application hard

Hard shutdown or termination of all processes can also be done in the application settings. Be aware that this step may be the case for Google cause some other functions to malfunction mobile. But if the message “Google Apps crashes regularly” annoys you, and you don’t want to rummage through other options, that’s one option. The most radical solution is then either to uninstall the application or temporarily turn it off on the system.

Option 5 – Install a verified version

As it seems so far, in the case of Google, the fault is version 12.24.7.29, which it simply falls. If you use step 2 above and don’t want to settle for an outdated version of the application, you can replace it with one that is known to be fine. For example, you can search on APKMirror.

Option 6 (not yet verified) – Try checking WebView

A similar problem hit Google in the spring, when a tool called Android System WebView was to blame. It has not yet been verified that current complications are associated with it, but you can try our older instructions. Maybe it’ll be a hit.
