This makes it clear that it is only a matter of a short time before you can set the dark theme in Google Maps. At the moment that is not yet possible, but knowing Google, it is a phased rollout that can take the coming days and weeks. The function must be found in the Google Maps app at Settings> Theme, where you can then make your choice. Of course there is also still the option to use the light theme. At the moment we don’t see the theme settings in the app yet. So be patient! In any case, it is good to see that the mode is on the way!
