Google Keep has a special bug that only affected Samsung devices
Google Keep keeps it a leader in note-taking applications due to its efficiency and simplicity. It currently has more than a billion downloads in the Google Play store and is catching up with just one app, Samsung Notes. In recent months, however, some users have been bothered by an annoying bug that prevents the use of bulleted and numbered lists. The Android Police portal informed about the news.
The first mention of the problem appeared in the Google forum at the end of November. When the user started adding new items to the automatically numbered list, the application did not display the number only once, but several times side by side. The numbers began to duplicate even when he was just reading the created note and not adding new text. In this case, it can be seen that the note is, despite the error, generally clear and legible, but for some users the problem was so bad that their notes are now completely unusable.
The error only occurs on Samsung devices that have Android 12
Interestingly, the bug only appears on Samsung devices running on Android 12. Problem reports have specifically come from owners of Galaxy S21 +, S21 Ultra, S21, S20, S10 and Note 20 Ultra smartphones. Fortunately, the problem seems to have affected only a small group of users, but there is no workaround. The forum moderator said, under the posts of affected users, that Google is currently investigating the bug.
