Google is rolling out a new weather widget for users with an Android device. Yet something is clearly missing.

In the code of the latest beta of the Google app, clues have been found for a new weather widget that will be rolled out for Android. It seems that Google is still optimizing the widget, because there are still a few things missing.

It is striking that the temperature in the widget differs from that of the At-a-glance widget that Google provides as standard. This while using the same location and the same weather platform. It is striking that the frog, which can often be found in the weather overview of Google, is not included in the widget.

The new weather widget is there in the dark and light, showing the basic information. This means the minimum and maximum temperature, along with the current actual temperature and location.
