Google comes with a new Fuchsia operating system

Google has been working on Fuchsia for many years. Previously this always seemed to be a test balloon, but now there seems to be more in it. Should Android enthusiasts fear now?

Fuchsia is getting more serious

Operating system Fuchsia has been around the news for a long time. Google has been working on it for a long time. Now the company seems to want to take it more seriously and has made its development public. In this way it is made possible that more people will work on the software, such as with Android and Chromium. The plan would be to turn it into a full-fledged OS.

Google has so far used Fuchsia to include elements in the development of other operating systems. Ideas were tried out here, for example. Through a tracker that will be shared from now on, those involved can see what is being done at Fuchsia. For development, Google uses its own Zircon kernel.

We expect more information about Fuchsia in the future. The chance that Fuchsia will replace Android seems almost impossible. Fuchsia is not ready for general product development or as a development goal. You can clone it, compile it and contribute to it, according to Google. All information is listed by Google in its blog.
