Google Chrome tabs are different. How to return them?

The developers and designers of the Google Chrome mobile app have once again reached into the basic layout, and we will have to get used to, among other things, new environment for opening new tabs. A space where, according to previous reports, there is even more space for the Discover channel, paradoxically and to the displeasure of some users a little less serves its main purpose – opening cards. The so-called New Tab Page reduces previously opened tabs to icons in one line and opens a new page to an even smaller button. You can see the changes in the gallery.

If you’ve seen this new layout in Google Chrome and aren’t happy about it, you’re in luck. There is a way to return to the previous view. Go to the address in the browser chrome://flags/ and find the parameter #enable-start-surface. Select Disabled from its menu and restart Chrome. For now, this option will work until Google decides to cut it off. Like turning off a grid of open cards that doesn’t suit many people at all.
