Google Assistant looks around on YouTube
Scheduling meetings, searching for various concepts, controlling a smart home, or even recognizing things in pictures or videos. These are some of the capabilities of the tool Google Asistent, which is now given the opportunity to show itself in one perhaps unexpected place. As part of a test run Premium account holders can run it on YouTube. The assistant then recommends some videos in the context menu of other activitieswhich can be performed with respect to the video content.
To try this connection, just have YouTube Premium and the mobile app for this video tool. Log in on your computer and go to the list of experimental features to test. Here, turn on the “Use other Assistant abilities” item and continue in the mobile application. Play any video and then look at the bottom of its description to see if it’s there appear suggestions (e.g., about this movie, person, place, etc.) related to the video you’re watching. You can then click on these suggestions to see more information.
The feature is currently available Android application for Android only and in English only. Testing of the connection between Google Now and the popular video portal is scheduled to run through October 27th. Then it will be seen if it will get into sharp operation.
