Good news. You can now conveniently pay with Google Pay in the ČD My Train application

Do you like to travel by train? With Czech Railways? So you probably know that this carrier runs the My Train mobile app. It is quite handy and useful, but until recently it had one big disadvantage for owners of smartphones and contactless payment – it did not support the Google Pay gateway. However, it is a few weeks since the developers finally introduced this feature after several long months of waiting. In the My Train app already we will now conveniently pay the fare via Google Pay.

The introduction of this payment gateway is officially mentioned in the description in the Play Store for the latest version in December and already is actually available in the application as well. This service came into play a few months after the introduction of rival Apple Pay. It is interesting that the official help on the ČD website is still considered by Google Pay for My Train to be a planned project. If you don’t use this payment gateway yet and would like to try it out, you can start by seeing if your bank supports it.
