Samsung has not yet given a precise date or what it announces, but Galaxy Unpacked is scheduled for the end of July 2023 and it concerns ‘foldable devices’. The telephone maker indicates this in an official press release.

It writes, “The 27th edition of the Unpacked event will be held at COEX in Samseong-dong to showcase intriguing technologies and experiences to a global audience.” It is the first time that an Unpacked event will take place in Seoul. “The foldable device category embodies our philosophy of breakthrough innovation shaping the future of mobile,” said Samsung. Which does not exactly say that it is Galaxy Z Fold 5, but approximately.

The expectation is that the festivities in Seoul will mainly be around Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. However, Samsung also seems to be hinting at cheaper devices in its press release. It writes: “Since the introduction of the first Galaxy Fold in 2019, Samsung has continuously improved its foldable phones. The next generation of foldable devices will benefit from years of R&D and investments.
