Galaxy A51, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and various Nokia’s receive a new update

Samsung, Nokia and Xiaomi are rolling out a new update for a number of devices. It is striking that a new update has recently been rolled out for the Nokia 6.2. We have listed the details of the updates.

Update for Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S will be updated with a new update, Gertjan says. The smartphone manufacturer is rolling out security update January 2021 for the smartphone. The update has version number V12.0.3.0 and is quite large in size. The size of the update is 320MB.

According to the changelog, no new functions or improvements have been processed, but you can assume that Xiaomi has added optimizations to this.

Nokia updates

Nokia has also rolled out an update for the Nokia 6.2, Oscar and Anton told DroidApp. This is an additional update on top of the previously released January update that appeared last month. No new security update is included. The changelog does now report improved system stability and user interface improvements. Major changes have not been noticed.

A new update is also available for the Nokia 5.4. These are several improvements for the camera. In addition, security update January 2021 for the Nokia 5.1 Plus, Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 1. It may take a while until everyone is offered the update. Updates are usually rolled out in phases.

Galaxy A51

Andy informs us that an update is also being rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy A51. It concerns security update January 2021. The last update for this device dates from November, when One UI 2.5 appeared for the smartphone. The update is 165.23MB in size.
