Google Play Points in the Netherlands

DroidApp wrote last week that Google would release its own savings system from the Google Play Store in the Netherlands. This savings system is called Google Play Points and can actually be used from today. You can now find the option in the menu of the Play Store app.

With the Google Play Points you save one point for every euro you spend on content in the Play Store. These include apps, games, in-app purchases, books, movies and so on. You can also go up in level, so you can earn more points per euro. This must be within a year. You can redeem the collected points for coupons, in-app purchases or as Google Play credit.

You must first register for Google Play Points yourself. This can be done with a few taps in the app from the Google Play Store on your Android device. If you start working with it immediately, you will receive 3 points per euro you spend in the first week.
