free cloud storage now for everyone

Proton is known for its own mail service; however, the company has even more applications and possibilities. Now that has been expanded with Proton Drive, with which you can safely store your files online.

Proton Drive

Proton Drive is the Swiss company’s new cloud storage service. The option has been available as a beta for paid users for some time, but now also for free users. Proton Drive should be able to automatically upload files from a Windows computer in a while, and it should be the case with macOS later on. This functionality is also under development for Android and iOS. With Proton Drive you can also share files, where you can of course also adjust various privacy options.

Proton Drive is free to use if 1GB is enough. If you want more storage space, you can choose from different subscriptions. You pay 4.00 euros per month for 200GB. Customers who opt for Proton Unlimited receive 500GB and also access to the extensive possibilities of Proton Mail, Calendar and VPN. This will cost you EUR 10.00 per month.

If you want to get started with Proton Drive, you can visit the webpage of the Swiss company.
