Forza Motorsport 7 will stop selling -apkrig in mid-September
It’s no secret that the developers from the Turn 10 studio are working on another part of the Forza Motorsport series. The game was widely speculated before its official release, and the developers even openly confirmed that they were testing the new game across the studio and that the work went hand in hand. In the end, however, Forza Horizon 5 from the Playground Games team arrives first, which, on the other hand, is clearly not against the timetable set for great Microsoft has compiled Forzu. On September 15, the Microsoft store will leave the previous seventh part of the series, along with all DLC, and what’s more, the game will no longer appear in the Game Pass menu.
If you are watching what is happening in the field of racing games, you probably already have a reason – it is a license for represented cars, which individual carmakers provided only for a certain period of time. Given that Forza Motorsport 7 was released in 2017, this step for developers and publishers is understandable, but on the other hand, it does not mean that the game will stop working. If you own it, it still remains in your game library, so you can download it repeatedly in both the Xbox and PC versions, and of course you’ll have access to all the extensions you get. Online features will also continue to be available, and as a result, nothing should change for existing players.
There is also a variant for players who played Forza Motorsport 7 from the Game Pass and got some DLC for it separately. Through the Xbox Message Center, they will receive a token to play the basic game, so they will not lose the opportunity to continue racing and enjoy the content they have acquired. However, the developers add that if players do not receive the token by the beginning of August, they should contact the customer line and request it directly, then it will be possible to activate it until September 2023, so enough time. And the e-sports scene, which is supported by the Rivals events, should not disappear – for them, the people from Turn 10 are preparing an update and promise that there will be enough and enough racing in the coming months.
On the account of the new part, we can only remind you that we do not yet know the final name – at least for now, the game is presented as Forza Motorsport without a number – and we do not even know when it should arrive more precisely. It has been speculated that precisely because of the complexity of development and the effort for greater innovation, the developers have internally postponed the release date, which is why an exception will occur in the run-in cycle and two parts of Forza Horizon will follow each other. However, it doesn’t seem to bother fans too much, and they understand the current decision – or the necessity caused by licenses – in the comments.
