Fortnite: alien artifacts – all localities in season 7 (week 5)

In Season 7 of Fortnite Battle Royale, new alien artifacts are hidden on the map every week. You need this to customize your Kymera according to your ideas. That’s why we show you all the locations every week.

While you have collected XP coins in the past seasons, in season 7 there are 5 alien artifacts hidden on the map every week. On the following map there are already those Locations of all alien artifacts of the current week 5 in season 7 marked:

What are alien artifacts in Fortnite Season 7?

The alien artifacts are necessary to customize your Kymera. You will receive the character as soon as you have bought the Battle Pass for Season 7.

Then you can modify the appearance of the alien character, for example by changing the shape of the head, eyes or the color of the armor. However, you have to unlock it beforehand and that costs alien artifact.

The prices vary between 2 and 17 alien artifacts. The respective option on the far right, for example the interstellar eye color or the brain, is only available once you have bought all the other items in the same category.

To unlock all variants of your Kymera, 360 alien artifacts are required.

Find alien artifacts in Cosmic Chests

You can find alien artifacts not only in the game world, but also in the new Cosmic Chests. You can only find these in duo, trio, and team mode and you need your entire group to open the cosmic chests.

Each chest usually gives you 2 to 4 alien artifacts. You can collect 15 more alien artifacts per week this way.

Weekly limit of alien artifacts

You can find 5 canisters per week on the map, each of which gives you 4 alien artifacts. So that’s 20 alien artifacts a week. Then there are the cosmic chests, from which you can secure another 15 alien artifacts per week. So the weekly limit of all available alien artifacts is 35.

You can only find and collect each alien artifact once on the map. You have time for this until the end of the respective season. Also come new alien artifacts every Tuesday at 4 p.m. added. So don’t miss them and check this guide regularly to find out the current locations!
