For the launch of Apple Music Classical, Apple offers events in its stores
The Apple Music Classical application, dedicated to streaming classical music, has been available for a few days. Apple wants to promote it in its stores, in particular with Today at Apple events.
In France, there will (obviously) be a single event. It will be at the Apple Store on the Champs-Élysées on April 14 with a performance by Julie Fuchs with the Opéra national de Paris. Here is the description from Apple:
Come listen to soprano Julie Fuchs, one of the most brilliant opera singers of her generation. You will first attend an interview with Alexander Neef, Director General of the Opéra national de Paris, then Julie will sing before answering your questions. You will also discover the Apple Music Classical app, as well as the collaboration between Apple and the Opéra national de Paris.
For sessions where the sound is amplified, hearing loop technology is available upon request.
Some sessions are accompanied by sign language interpreters.
If you are interested in the event, you can register from this page. It will be April 14 between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
On the United States side, there will be two shows, in both cases at the famous Apple Store on 5th Avenue in New York. The first, which is already full, will take place March 31 with a performance by musicians from the New York Philharmonic. The other meeting April 25will be with South African cellist Abel Selaocoe.
