Flight Simulator could also appear on the older Xbox One -apkrig

The developers from the Asobo studio have never denied that a console version will be available after the release of their Flight Simulator on a PC. Until last December, however, players had to wait for confirmation that the work had finally started and learned through a blog post that Flight Simulator would arrive on the Xbox Series X and S this summer. Due to the bloody demands on hardware, this will be the first time for many players that they will finally be able to fly over the world’s capitals, as well as their hometowns and villages, and see how much of a series the series has made. However, the upcoming release brings with it a certain taste, given the critical shortage of consoles and the fact that the vast majority of gamers on the Xbox still have only the equipment of the last generation. But even Xbox One might not be short, when development director Jorg Neumann suggests in an interview with Eurogamer that Flight Simulator could later arrive on this console as well.

In fact, the developers’ vision may not be as unreadable as it seems at first glance, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Flight Simulator found its way to Xbox One through a streamed version via xCloud.

“We are currently working hard to develop an Xbox version. We turn virtually every stone and examine all the models, ”says Neumann, hitting the hardware limits of the new consoles. In many ways, however, the ongoing optimization was helped by the availability of VR mode, which is, of course, even more demanding on computer equipment, and it was necessary to adjust the operation of the game to a large extent. According to Nuemann, all VR game developers need to be disciplined and optimized from the start, which they have probably repeated many times as they free up all capacity and adjust Flight Simulator so that it can be played with the currently available hardware with a satisfactory level of graphics detail. . Thanks to this, however, they have a solid basis for the game on the Xbox Series X and especially Series S to work smoothly and all compromises were bearable.

What will the console version look like?

In the quoted interview for Eurogamer, Jorg Neumann also described how Flight Simulator on consoles should differ from the PC version, and you will probably not be surprised by the mention of greater accessibility. However, the people from Asobo want to guarantee this in all available versions, and the path to it leads through other tutorials and learning modes. The developers have already collected a lot of data that reveals to them how players approach the game and want to have it projected into the game’s operation. However, it is already clear that thanks to internal tools and the modification trade, third party add-ons will also work on consoles, which is undoubtedly a great bonus that will underline the planned elements of accessibility and various help for occasional players.

But then Neumann went a step further and suggested that, thanks to the work done so far, it may not be necessary to completely reject the Xbox One version, which seems like a very crazy idea without context. “Undoubtedly, the biggest problem is operational memory. You need a powerful PC for ultra-graphical setup, and it offers much much more memory than the Xbox One, ”says the director of development. But it also adds a solution in the form of other waysto ensure that Flight Simulator works on the Xbox One, but doesn’t want to talk about them too soon. “It’s a long way, as in most other cases, so let’s give room to complete the Xbox Series, and then we can have more fun,” Neumann concludes. In reality, however, his vision may not be as illegible as it seems at first glance, and we would not be surprised if Flight Simulator found its way to Xbox One through a streamed version via xCloud.

As is well known, the basic version of the game is available through Game Pass, which is an integral part of xCloud, and Microsoft plans to expand the availability of the service this year from Android to iOS and Windows. The iOS version, for which a web application will have to be created, could then help to quickly expand to any other device with a browser, and even without a native application, this would open the way to streaming gaming on the console as well. We can’t imagine that they would be willing to be satisfied with so many compromises in Microsoft or Asobo studio that the version of Flight Simulator for Xbox One would undoubtedly bring and risk the good reputation and reputation of the title. But we will see how the developers will react in the end and how, or whether, they will reach this hint.
