Fitbit Versa 2, Inspire 2 and Charge 4 get new features

Fitbit is making new features available to owners of the Versa 2, Inspire 2, and Charge 4. This gives them access to more insights into their health and well-being.

1. Free access to personal insights

Owners of the Fitbit Versa 2, Inspire 2 and Charge 4 now have free access to functions of the Fitbit Versa 3 and the Fitbit Sense. It’s about access to personal insights into trends from the past week. This data is visible in the Health Metrics dashboard in the Fitbit app. This dashboard can be found in the app and shows biometric data from the sensors on a Fitbit device.

The 7-day insights, along with the 30-day variant, are originally part of the paid Fitbit Premium subscription. The first variant can now also be used for non-Premium members on the above wearables.

2. Fitbit Premium members

Fitbit Premium members will soon be able to view personal thresholds via the Health Metrics dashboard, which will allow for changes to be noticed more quickly. This allows Fitbit users to monitor their own health and wellbeing more closely, as they gain insight into how often their values ​​fall within the target range over a 30-day period. Premium members can also share their blood glucose levels via the app in a PDF report with their healthcare provider.

3. Fitbit Charge 4 is getting SpO2 measurements

Finally, following an update scheduled for this month, all Fitbit Charge 4 users will be able to view their SpO2 readings on their wrist for free and view data about their SpO2 and skin temperature in the Health Metrics dashboard. The fluctuations in the oxygen saturation of your blood (SpO2) are shown in graphs together with the skin temperature.
