Final Fantasy XVI: The Black Man

The black man is one of the notorious dangers in Final Fantasy XVI. Its location is known at the beginning of the hunt, but getting there is a bit confusing. That’s why we show you below how you get to the black man and how you can defeat him.

The Black Man – locality

In Final Fantasy XVI there is a total of 32 notorious dangers, all of which you must complete if you want to unlock all the trophies in the game, by the way. The strong enemies are gradually unlocked as the game progresses. You can view them in your Hideout on the Hunt Board and get more information about them. In order to unlock the black man as a hunting target, you must first complete the side mission The Law of Vengeance II.

As a rule, you can also see the opponent’s whereabouts on the hunt board. This is also the case with the black man, but the way to him is quite confusing.

You find the black man in the Holy Empire of Sanbrèque. travels to Fast travel point Kielbrügg and goes east. You come to the location of the black man over the wine tunnel, otherwise he cannot be reached.

For some notorious threats, the name on the hunting board is not the right name at all, including the black man. As soon as you reach the location, you will learn that the enemy is actually called The Holy Horn. The Sacred Horn has a Danger Rank of B and is at level 36. So he is one of the slightly weaker notorious enemies in Final Fantasy XVI.

Nonetheless, defeating The Sacred Horn will of course give you a reward. As soon as you have banned the notorious danger, you get as Reward 2,200 XP, 75 skill points, 9800 Gil, 20 Glory, 1 Red Alloy and 1 Meteor Stone (crafting material).
