Otherwise, it will be a classic first person event, which, as the name suggests, will take us to 2029, when the war between Skynet and the rest of humanity is raging. The main character is Kyle Reese from the first James Cameron film. However, we have to go through the events leading up to his mission in 1984.
Of course, the authors plan to release the game for free, but even that does not have to protect them from the unwanted attention of lawyers. The rights to this brand are currently owned by Skydance Media. In addition, it will probably be difficult for fans to resist the temptation not to portray some of the original actors from the film or to borrow motifs from the soundtrack. Their efforts can be a thorn in the side of authors who have an official license, but we are happy to be wrong.
