Today the time has finally come. After much rumors, leaks and speculation, Samsung has presented the Galaxy S21 through a digital press conference. The South Korean tech giant is marketing the S21 family in several variants. These are the S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra. Model by model we analyze the specs.
Samsung Galaxy S21 5G
The slip-on, as far as you can talk about a slip-on of course. The new Galaxy S21 has a 6.2-inch Flat FHD + display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone weighs 171 grams and has a 10 MP selfie camera. There are three cameras at the back. This is a 12 MP + 12 MP + 64 MP construction. Under the hood is a 64-bit Octa-Core processor and you have 8 GB of RAM. Storage is 128 GB or 256 GB, depending on the version. The battery has a capacity of 4,000mAh.
Prices for the Galaxy S21 start at 849 euros for the version with 128 GB. The 256 GB version costs 899 euros.
Samsung Galaxy S21 + 5G
The S21 + is the same as the S21 on quite a few points. Of course there are a number of important differences. First, the screen. That’s 6.7-inches tall with the S21 +. The phone weighs 202 grams and has a slightly larger battery with 4,800mAh. The camera, storage and memory is the same as the S21.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
And then of course the top model. The Galaxy S21 Ultra. This smartphone has a 6.8-inch large QHD + AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. With a weight of 229 grams, this is really a tough guy. There is therefore serious hardware under the hood.
You can take selfies with a 40 MP camera and there are another four cameras at the back. This is a 12 MP + 108 MP + 10 MP + 10 MP camera island. Like the other variants, there is an Octa-Core processor.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra has 12 GB RAM with 128 GB storage or 256 GB storage. There is also a model above with no less than 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. There are laptops that have to make do with less.
The new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra costs 1,249 euros for 12 GB RAM / 128 GB storage. The version with 256 GB will cost you 1,299 euros. The top model with 512 GB storage and 16 GB RAM will cost 1,429 euros.
For the first time, a Galaxy S product is also compatible with the S-Pen, but you need to purchase it separately.
