The new look of Material You has been aimed at most Google applications and services in recent weeks, and of course it will not be stopped by a different and smaller shape of the display in combination with another platform. It will also apply to iOS applications as well as versions for the Wear OS watch system. One of the other tools that has already been done this way begins to change, is Google Clock. In the gallery, you can see what the settings or ringing will look like in the watch alarm clock or control timers and stopwatches.
In addition to clearly visible changes in color, which is a common element of the whole Download Material You, users will also receive customized buttons and other elements. Many items are now underlain by oval surfaces, some checklists are now displayed in a grid, and the timer settings, for example, have disappeared from the timer dial.
The images so far come only from previews for the Wear OS Play Store and it’s not clear when the new design appears outright. It is not yet available on the new Galaxy Watch4.
