Elon Musk threatens Apple and Google: “I can create my own phone”
Elon Musk is a man of challenge who has revolutionized many industrial sectors, from the electric car with Tesla to the conquest of space with SpaceX. The South African is also freewheeling very often and has so much money that it allows him to do just about anything and everything. Its takeover of Twitter for 44 billion a few weeks ago is further proof of this. Since then, there has been a rout among the employees of the blue bird social network while the new boss wants to put freedom of expression at the center of his latest stroke of madness. Aware that a certain feeling of disenchantment is being born around this takeover, Musk is ready to do anything to support him in his own way.
Elon Musk will save Twitter with the “Whatever it takes!” »?
Since the App Store marketing chief decided to retire from Twitter, rumors were circulating on Twitter’s banishment from Apple’s and Google’s app stores. Ridiculous, but some got caught up in it. It all started with this question posed to Elon Musk by podcaster Liz Wheeler on Twitter:
If Apple and Google kick Twitter out of their app stores, @elonmusk should produce his own smartphone. Half the country would be happy to ditch biased, nosy iPhones and Android phones. Man builds rockets to go to Mars, stupid little smartphone should be easy, right?
Not one to back down, the billionaire immediately replied:
I sure hope it doesn’t come to that, but yes, if there’s no other choice, I’ll make an alternative phone.
I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone

So, will we be the witnesses of such a reality? He is most likely not, but we must recognize that we are however curious to see what Elon Musk could lay us as a smartphone if the situation were to evolve in this direction. Note also that by doing without the Play Store and the App Store, Musk could avoid paying fees to the two giants for each “in-app” purchase on Twitter…
