Drive to Survive season 4 is a setback?
Tomorrow you can judge for yourself when Drive to Survive season 4 appears on Netflix. But the reviews don’t sound promising.
The glitter and glamor world of Formula 1 has been given a podium on Netflix for a number of years in the form of Drive to Survive. The fourth season, which charts 2021, will be released tomorrow. Of course the season of Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.
But don’t look too much forward to Survive season 4 if you’re hoping for a massive amount of attention for Max and Lewis. The first reviews don’t sound very promising from media that have already seen the new season. It was already known in advance that Max Verstappen hates Drive to Survive. He therefore does not cooperate with the show. This also makes it difficult for the program makers to give a balanced picture of the events. You have a great movie, but the protagonist doesn’t feel like showing up. It kinda feels that way.
Red Bull Racing team boss Christian Horner can be seen frequently in the fourth season. He speaks for Max Verstappen, in that regard. But that also gives a monotonous picture. In short, the fourth season of Drive to Survive will again contain a mix of storylines. An epic look back from Verstappen’s perspective, however, is not in it. And that’s a shame.
