Do these renders S22 Ultra mark the end of the Note series?

The first renders of next year’s Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra flagship have been released on the Internet. It looks like it will have a design reminiscent of the older Galaxy Note line. So the question is, does Samsung still count on the return of this popular series? Or did it completely replace it with the Galaxy Fold series, which also supports S Pen? The report was brought by the XDA portal.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with built-in stylus

Looking at this year’s Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, which also supports the S-Pen, this may be another logical step in evolution. Namely, if you wanted to buy the S21 Ultra model and use the mentioned stylus with it, you also had to buy a special case with storage space and an S Pen. According to the Slovak site Samsung, there are two cases that are sold with S Pen support and would cost you an additional € 59.90, respectively. € 82.90 (the closing case is more expensive, while only the protective cover on the back of the device is cheaper).

However, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a stylus built in exactly as we know it from the Galaxy Note series. The pictures below look like the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a baby with this year’s S21 Ultra. Here you will find the familiar elements of the Note series – curved glass on the front and back of the device, a small hole for a selfie sensor in the middle and, of course, space for a stylus.

Specifications indicate that with the S22 Ultra we will not see any shift in high zoom photography. However, the design of the sensors, stored in the shape of the letter P, is interesting. However, we do not know more about the sensors.

The device should have the dimensions 163.2 x 77.9 x 8.9 mm with a thickness of 10.5 mm, if we also count on protruding cameras. The S22 Ultra should have the same 5,000 mAh battery, a high-resolution display – probably AMOLED with a diagonal of 6.8 ″ and a high refresh rate. It will be powered by Exynos 2200, which will contain a graphics chip from AMD.

Take all this information with a dose of perspective. The official performance is still a long way off, so some dose of inaccuracies may occur. Either way, we have something to look forward to.
