Disney + to upgrade to € 8.99 / month and include Star for adult content
Disney just announced a price increase for Disney + which will increase to € 8.99 / month (instead of € 6.99 / month) on February 23, 2021 and include Star. This service, directly integrated into Disney + in Europe, will offer films for adults. It will not be optional, it will be included for everyone.
Star arrives in Disney + for mature movies and series
Disney + subscribers will find content from ABC, Fox and other studios that belong to Disney with the section dedicated to Star. In its presentation, Disney notably showed the presence of several films, including Die Hard, Logan, Alien and Planet of the Apes: Supremacy. Several series will also appear in the Star section, including Modern Family, Homeland and The Americans to name a few.
In itself, Star in Disney + will be equivalent to Hulu internationally. This service exists only in the United States. It will make it possible to attract a new audience which does not find its happiness to this day on Disney +. It must be said that Disney has many studios and many films do not exist on its streaming platform today. This will change with the integration of Star.
New Marvel, Star Wars and more
Disney said it has 86.8 million paying subscribers. They were 73.7 million last month. As a reminder, Disney + was born 13 months ago. In addition, there will be 10 Marvel series, 10 Star Wars series and 15 Disney / Pixar films on Disney +.
Over the next few years, roughly 10 @Marvel series, 10 @StarWars series, 15 Disney live action, @DisneyAnimation, and @Pixar series, plus 15 all-new Disney live action, Disney Animation, and Pixar features will be released directly on @DisneyPlus.

Another announcement concerns the film Raya and the Last Dragon. It will be available simultaneously at the cinema and on Disney +. Like what happened to Mulan, you will have to pay extra to see it.
