Discovery Tour will arrive in Valhalla in October -apkrig

Ubisoft has announced that a digital interactive history textbook in the form of Assassin’s Creed Discovery Tour: Viking Age will be released on October 19. Valhalla players will be able to enjoy and explore this world in a completely different way and from a different perspective. This is a free extension for the owners of the original game, and the Discovery Tour will once again be purchased separately as a standalone title on a PC and, for the first time ever, also on consoles, Stadium and Luna, but not until the beginning of next year.

In Discovery Tour: Viking Age, players have to explore history differently than in the previous two cases.

The novelty will build on the previous two historical trips that started in Origins. Historians and archaeologists have once again taken part in the project, and the Discovery Tour will turn the game world into an educational experience that players can freely explore without any action or danger. At the same time, they will learn more about places, people, traditions and culture of the 9th century in general.

However, this does not mean that the authors would just continue with the established formula without any effort to innovate. On the contrary. In Discovery Tour: Viking Age, players have to explore history in a different way. Instead of classic guided tours, we will take on the form of various characters and set out to perform special tasks, thanks to which we will be even closer to history. They say we will always be in the middle of things.

In the “game” we can also admire photographs of objects from the collections of museums, which established closer cooperation with developers. Among them are several institutions from Great Britain, France, but also Denmark. From October 19, the Discovery Tour: Viking Age will be available for free to Valhalla owners on all platforms. On the same day, the mentioned standalone version for PC will also appear, calculated for about 500 crowns, if you are not interested in the original game. And that, as already mentioned, will arrive at the console and cloud streaming services in early 2022.

If you haven’t tried Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt and Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece in the past, be sure to give them a chance. You may be surprised at how good they are and how much information is in them. The individual chapters really go into depth and the authors present all the topics in a fun and engaging way. Just a school game. If history is being taught this way somewhere in the Czech Republic or Slovakia, be sure to let us know.
