Did the dot turn red unexpectedly? And do you know you can fool her?

From the beginning of the holidays, new “covidpass” applications have officially come into force in the Czech Republic and the rest of the EU, in the domestic case Tečka and Reader. We both introduced you in detail. In the case of the former, it is a tool for proving (probable) infectivity, which is at first sight visualized mainly by green on the display. Without the user or a possible controller examining the QR code or the date of vaccination, the color of the application immediately reveals whether the validity of individual items is correct. In recent days, however, two peculiarities have emerged around this principle.

The first “problem” is based on the rules of application themselves, hence the regulations of the Ministry of the Interior. How they have changed responsibilities and options around the first or second dose of vaccination, for many people, the dot for this item immediately switched to red. The system (and thus also the Czech authorities or other countries) currently considers complete vaccination with both doses. So whoever had only one so far had a green color in the application just for a few days.

The second thing we can directly call an error and it mainly concerns the testing records. It was found that even if the user has “passed” the test with respect to the date of its implementation, just change the date on your phone he can get it back to green. It is said that the Ministry does not intend to correct this problem, so the theoretical possibility of how to apply through this simulated one has opened up abuse. For example, if the concert organizer or restaurant owner does not scan the QR codes directly and will only be interested in the color of the application.

Are you using the Dot application? How many items do you have there?
