Deleting all photos and videos from Samsung Cloud is approaching
The end of Samsung Cloud photo and video storage support is fast approaching. The Korean company has canceled several functions in recent months and is now preparing to end the last one – the ability to download videos and photos. Users have the last month to download their backed up videos and photos. They will no longer be available from September 30, 2021.

The phasing out of the service began on 5 October 2020, when uploading new pictures and videos was disabled and at the same time the migration to Microsoft OneDrive was started. The second phase began on August 1, 2021, when the migration to OneDrive was completed, at the same time the use of the synchronization function was terminated and in the case of an active premium subscription, the last payments were returned. The last phase will be on September 30, when there will be a complete shutdown, and therefore the impossibility of downloading photos and videos.
Samsung itself has divided the termination into two groups, but the Czech Republic and Slovakia belong to Group 1, which will end support earlier. Users from the countries of the second group have until the end of November.
If you are interested in downloading your data, then you have two options. On a Samsung mobile phone via the Samsung Cloud application, where you select “Download my data”. Alternatively, in the Gallery app, tap More – Settings – Download content from the cloud. You can visit the Samsung Cloud website on your computer and, after logging in, select the Gallery or Drive menu from which you can download photos and videos.
