Dealers acquired the new PS5 from a British store the day before -apkrig

Although the current situation cannot even be remotely called a steady supply of new pieces of game consoles to electronics stores, from the first wave of sales to the Xbox Series X | With S and PlayStation 5, some of the other applicants received pre-orders. But he is constantly waging a battle against traffickers, who use every opportunity to immediately reserve freshly stored pieces in large quantities for themselves and later sell them at a much higher price to those who simply did not get them. A bit of an atypical, but still striking example, he is now coming from Great Britain, where the local Argos chain was supposed to start selling a limited number of PlayStation 5 consoles for sale today – but before that happened two hours after midnight, some pieces were gone.

It is possible to describe with a considerable amount of malice those people who came to the console during Monday and who literally make fun of everyone on the social networks who are patiently waiting for further deliveries. According to a Twitter user with the nickname Reverse Robin Hood (oh, how characteristic…), this is due to the tools of the Express Notify group, which mediates resale and unfair securing of bulk orders of expected goods. At the paid Discord, they offered their customers the services of their own shoe, which was able to successfully generate product addresses in the aforementioned Argos store and thus make available the hitherto non-public part of the database, where the consoles were ready to launch sales. And it wasn’t just that, of course reverse Robin Hood, but many others who bragged about their catches on social networks and laughed at how easy it is to get a PlayStation 5.

According to the Video Games Chronicle magazine, store administrators responded quickly to the error and prevented the misuse of generated addresses, resp. orders, but did not indicate when they actually succeeded, given the limited quantity. It is therefore not known how many consoles were sold to resellers or people who abused the mistake and how many actually ended up in the hands of honest owners. At least they show their resistance and loud disapproval on social networks, which is the only thing they can do at the moment. The incident in Argos is not unique, and last week, for example, the Carnage Bot twitter account boasted that it had received over 2,000 consoles from another store – Game – and the author did not fail to add maliciously that it’s always easier and easier.
