Czechs will have an ID or driver’s license in their application

We have been thinking for a long time about what it would be like to live the way we have everything in our smartphone. Many of us would already like to keep our wallets at home, because we can pay in stores by mobile phone alone.

The eDokladovka application will make life easier for many Czechs

Our Czech neighbors will carry an identity card or driver’s license in the new way in the smartphone application. They are starting to live at a time when you only need to have a mobile phone with you. With smartphones, they can pay, prove themselves by a negative test for coronavirus, vaccination card or their personal documents.

They can be grateful to the eDokladovka application. In addition to an identity card or driver’s license, they can also upload their passport, professional driver’s license, digital tachograph card, disability card or residence permit for foreign nationals.

Of course, all these cards must be issued by the state itself. It will allegedly be possible to upload other personal documents in the future. This can be, for example, a vehicle registration certificate, birth certificate, gun license or health insurance policyholder’s license.
