Immersive View in Amsterdam

The fairly recently added feature Immersive View is coming to Amsterdam; Google confirmed this in a blog post. With Immersive View, the company has come up with a very cool way of visiting a city. Virtual visits, that is, because the function makes it possible to visit a city with a self-selected time and date. Thanks to techniques, Google Earth and Street View, it is further expanded with possibilities, so that you can visit buildings, for example. The weather is also taken into account, for an even more realistic representation of the images.

In Amsterdam, for example, it is made possible to visit the Rijksmuseum via Immersive View. The rollout starts today for even more cities; London, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Tokyo. Google says it will be available in Amsterdam, Dublin, Florence and Venice in the coming months.
