CoD: Black Ops Cold War update tortures team killers
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s competitive mode makes short work of team killers by giving them a taste of their own medicine.
A new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War tackles team killers. In League Play – CoD’s competitive mode – evil and / or malicious teammates take team damage in their own pits. If they continue after that, they will be kicked out of the game. This is how it works.
Black Ops Cold War tackles team killers
From earlier this month, seasoned Call of Duty fans will be able to bang competitively in League Play. In Black Ops Cold War you can choose the option and fight against players with the same level after a few placement matches.
In this competitive mode, on the other hand, ‘friendly fire’ applies. So you have to be careful when you pull the trigger, because a lost teammate can mean the difference between winning and losing.
That sounds like music to the ears to some gloomy players. You always have team killers, but before these were not adequately penalized in the most recent Call of Duty.
That is how it works
This will change with the new update. When you shoot a teammate for the second time, further team damage comes right back to you. This system ensures that not the victim but the size mower dies from team damage. If the team killer has not yet learned his lesson, he will get two more chances. If he shoots a teammate twice more, he will be thrown out of the match.
While team killers are usually hardly present in competitive game modes, it does occur every now and then. It is then essential that the game punishes such players without directly punishing unfortunate bad players. With this system, which is also present in Rainbow Six Siege, for example, team killers in Black Ops Cold War should no longer have a chance to ruin the game for the rest.
