China manufacturer has to make big compromises

Huawei P50 Pro: Less RAM for top smartphone

Actually, the Huawei P50 Pro should have been introduced a long time ago and really get the market going. However, the Chinese group has problems with the procurement of components for construction in sufficient numbers. It is currently still like that no date for the presentation firm, but it has already been announced that Huawei will have to make compromises with the P50 Pro. For the normal user, a Huawei P50 Pro with 8 GB of RAM will run just as well as a model with 12 GB of RAM. In direct comparison with other top smartphones, some of which even have 16 GB of RAM, 8 GB of RAM is simply not enough in the price range in which the Huawei P50 Pro will be. Huawei is probably not a choice, because you are through the current situation cut off from many suppliers and can’t get the components needed for this smartphone.

The later the Huawei P50 Pro appears, the worse it gets for the Chinese company, because the upcoming smartphone actually competes against the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra or Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. Successors are already being announced there, which will make it easier for Huawei’s smartphones to slip into their pockets.
