Cheaper air purifier back – is it worth buying?

Aldi Nord sells air purifiers for 49.99 euros
Ventilating often and thus ensuring good air quality is more important than ever in times when you have to work from home. In the cold season this is not always possible, so you can make do with an air purifier. This measures the air quality in the room and starts cleaning it when it is bad. At Aldi Nord will be offering a Quigg air purifier from February 15, which costs only 49.99 euros. Last time it was 48.49 euros. A 3-in-1 filter system is used, which filters pollen, dust particles, smoke and other pollutants from the air. The coronavirus is not filtered out. It works with 30 watts and has an ion function. An LED ring indicates whether the air quality is good, sufficient or bad. You can then let the air purifier work automatically or intervene manually. A timer is also available.
Inside the Quigg air purifier there is a filter that will have to be changed at some point. Aldi does not currently sell this in its branches. However, the scope of delivery includes an order sheet with which you can buy replacement filters for 20 euros each. Is of course a bit cumbersome, but it works. If you want it a little easier, you can order an air purifier from Amazon, where the replacement filters are also available directly. There are different versions there, if the room in which the air purifier is to be located is a little larger. A model from TaoTronics is a bit more expensive, but has been rated very well and the replacement filters are available for almost the same price.

Basically for everyone who appreciates high air quality. Often you don’t even know how bad the air quality is in a room because you get used to it. But then you quickly get headaches or other complaints. So an air purifier that works when the air quality is poor is a wise investment. Especially in rooms where you spend a long time.
