[CES 2022] Garmin unveils the Venu 2 Plus, a connected watch compatible with Siri
The hardware ecosystem of products and services Apple keeps expanding. Compatible devices AirPlay, HomeKit, Apple TV + or recently Locate multiply. Garmin is added to the list with the Come 2 More, a connected watch designed for monitoring physical activities. The accessory includes a music player (streaming), a stress tracker, an oximeter, and of course lots of built-in health functions (some of which are suitable for female users). And of course, it is possible to receive notifications from apps.
For the first time too, Garmin is offering a smartwatch compatible with third-party voice assistants, such as Google assistant or even Siri. It is thus possible to write and send texts by voice, but also to control other home automation devices remotely via the connected watch. A dedicated app (iOS and Android) displays health data as well as activity history. The Venu 2 Plus has a 43mm stainless steel case and the AMOLED screen is protected by a Gorilla Glass overlay. Finally, the battery of the toquante provides an autonomy of 9 days. The Venu 2 Plus is available for sale on the manufacturer’s website priced at $ 449.
