Celebrating a party on Telegram is now possible
Having a party online with many people, with Telegram that is now possible.
We’ve had to make a lot of video calls lately. For work, study or just for fun. This is because we were in a lockdown due to the coronavirus, or because there were many measures so that we could not meet physically. The various programs that made this possible were ideal. They were free, but the companies are currently scaling back the free features.
Party on Telegram
Google Meet for example, here it is no longer possible to have a group conversation for longer than 60 minutes. Telegram smells an opportunity and allows an alternative to it. But only via your smartphone. The messaging service rolled out a feature for group calls last month. Telegram has extended the maximum viewer limit for a group conversation to 970 participants! 30 users can broadcast images, the rest can watch. For a free platform, that’s not bad at all.
What is this useful for? Meetings that are business, but also parties or live music performances can then be placed in a group. There are also some limitations to the Telegram groups. You have to organize all calls on your smartphone and there is no link to share. If you would like to watch, you must be in the Telegram group.
Other New Features
Telegram also has some other new features in addition to this upgrade. Video messages, for example, have been given a higher resolution, which makes the images more beautiful. It is unclear by how much this has gone up. You can now also share conversations that you have with one person with the screen and sound of your smartphone. So if you share a screen with, for example, a video, the viewer will also hear the sound. It is also possible to delete chat messages after one month. You can do this automatically, previously you could only choose to delete messages after a week or after a day.
