Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War completely free for a limited time!
In the run-up to Christmas, Call of Duty fans will receive a nice gift in the form of the full Black Ops Cold War multiplayer, for free!
Activision has an early Christmas present for you. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is completely free until the start of the holidays. From the time of writing, you can try the game without snags. Or if you want to level weapons for Warzone as efficiently as possible, you can of course.
Black Ops Cold War Free
In a tweet Activision announces a week of free Black Ops Cold War multiplayer. To be clear, the campaign is not accessible, but only the online part of the game.
In addition, the game will receive a special Playlist for the coming week. Until next Monday you play Team Deathmatch, Domination, 2v2 Gunfight, Nuketown (24/7) and Raid the Mall. All 18 maps in the game are of course available during the free week.
The second part of the Black Ops Christmas special is a bit less conventional. From Monday the 21st through Christmas Eve, you’ll play all of the above, plus Prop Hunt, Hardpoint and Fireteam Dirty Bomb. The latter three are fairly unique to Call of Duty concepts and show a different side of the game. Of course you will bring all XP and progress with you if you eventually purchase the game.
This is also an excellent opportunity for Warzone fans to properly level the already added weapons. Now players of the battle royale have to find the new weapons in the game itself or get them from a Loadout Drop. Fairly unlikely and therefore quite difficult to efficiently unlock new attachments.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer is available for free on all platforms through December 24. So check the game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
