Release. Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10, 2020 at 1 a.m. in Germany. You can download the game one or more days earlier after pre-ordering.
Platforms. Cyberpunk 2077 appears PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Stadia. The console versions can be played on the next-gen without any problems, and memory statuses are also transferable.
Genre. The game is referred to on Steam as an “open-world action-adventure”, taking its status as role playing game but very serious: The focus of the first-person RPG is on the story and all kinds of conversations in which you will always make decisions. You are encouraged to shape your figure down to the smallest detail and ultimately change the open cyberpunk city Night City with it beyond your decisions. Immersion, the atmosphere and story are the words that are capitalized here in the context of the genre.
Story. You play V, a lawless mercenary in the megalopolis Night City: In order to make ends meet, you accept dangerous jobs for money and do them (in the best case). Immediately you slide through the story in the search for a very special implant: a chip that should carry the key to immortality. How will your story end? The choices you make should determine your fate – and perhaps that of the world too.
Game size and playing time. An exact playing time of Cyberpunk 2077 has not yet been announced. The fact is that it probably too depends on your style of play: In addition to the main story, CP77 will offer a number of side missions as well as a huge, futuristic city, so that you should be able to spend over 100 hours in the game without feeling bored. The download size is also not yet certain: Although the game can already be downloaded by pre-orderers on various platforms, it is assumed that the Day 1 patch will be quite large. We suspect a final download size of over 100 GB.

Which way of life suits you? All three past are presented in the trailer:
Missions & Gameplay. In addition to the main missions, Cyberpunk 2077 focuses on quite a few side missionswhich – similar to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – should make up a large part of the game. In general, you can complete the individual quests in different ways (fight through, sneak, hack, persuade NPC, etc.). Quests are only reset when the protagonist dies, which means: If you do not complete a quest successfully, it was not successful either and you have to live with it. Side missions can also influence the main mission.

Will Cyberpunk 2077 be something for to you his?
Cyberpunk 2077 won’t make every single player happy because no game would be able to (except Fortnite! kidding). Over the past few years, a gigantic hype has built up in some gaming communities with regard to Cyberpunk 2077, which has ascribed almost all possible genres and characteristics to the game: Wonderful shooter! New GTA! Most realistic RPG ever!
But at the end of the day, Cyberpunk 2077 is and will be a game like any other. It is therefore important to determine what the CP77 really is. Namely, first and foremost, one role playing game.
In our opinion, Cyberpunk 2077 is most comparable to the Deus-Ex series and focuses on story and Immersion into the action and could promise relief to all those who have been longing for new parts of the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series for some time. CP77 is not a new science fiction style GTA, and there will very likely be lots and lots of conversations and lots of decisions for you to make.
Do you want to know MORE about Cyberpunk 2077? We have collected all kinds of facts for you!
So if you expect a pure shooter, fast gameplay or a semi-realistic world like the one from GTA, which encourages you to “shoot around” or steal cars as you wish, you will probably not be too happy with Cyberpunk 2077. All other? You should keep an eye on Cyberpunk 2077 because for you, the game may live up to its hype. Ultimate reviews (whether from fans or critics) of course have the last word in this case.
