Buy an iPhone now, or wait for Black Friday 2021?
Just a few more weeks until Black Friday 2021! Is now the ideal time to buy a new iPhone, or does it not make much sense to wait for the discount craze? You can read it in this buying advice.

Buy iPhone during Black Friday 2021
November 26 is Black Friday 2021, and this seems like a perfect day to buy a new iPhone. Almost all web stores then stunt with discounts or other promotions. But whether you’d do well to wait until Black Friday depends on the iPhone you choose.
Those who are looking for the iPhone 13 (Pro) should not expect high discounts. The devices have only just been released (since September 2021) and new iPhones are very price-resistant in the first months after launch – partly due to price agreements. In fact, we expect the prices of the iPhone 13 models during Black Friday to be the same as they are now.
This also has to do with the worldwide chip shortage, which Apple is now suffering from for the first time. As a result, the stock of the iPhone 13 (Pro) is limited. This is especially the case with the more advanced Pro models. Demand is currently greater than supply, which means that the iPhone 13 (Pro) will not play a role in the price circus.
Black Friday: iPhone 12 or iPhone 11
Want an older iPhone model, such as the iPhone 12, iPhone SE, or iPhone 11? With these devices it pays to wait a little longer with your purchase, because we expect discounts for that. The iPhone 12 (Pro) is certainly a phone to keep an eye on during Black Friday 2021. The device looks a lot like the iPhone 13 (Pro), but is a lot cheaper. Black Friday will push the price even further.

The iPhone 11 (Pro) from 2019 is also an interesting option. You can still use this iPhone for years to come and it is even cheaper than the iPhone 12. Don’t you care so much about the modern looks, but do you want a decent iPhone? Then focus on the iPhone SE from 2020. It is currently sold for about 500 euros at most online stores. Last year the price dropped to 428 euros during Black Friday, and we expect nice price drops again.
Apple Store or online webshops?
You don’t have to count on high discounts at the (online) Apple Store; there are never really spectacular stunts there. Like last year, you’ll probably get an Apple Store gift card with purchase of certain iPhone models. Last year it was a voucher of 50 euros.
You will not receive the voucher with the latest iPhone 13. You will probably receive the Apple Store gift card with the purchase of an iPhone 12, iPhone 11 or iPhone SE. We expect more attractive deals with higher discounts at the well-known online stores, so it is probably smarter to buy your intended iPhone outside the Apple Store.
