Boulder Dash Deluxe – -apkrig

The legendary adventure of a brave miner who has to overcome pitfalls in pursuit of glittering treasures, dodging boulders that threaten to crush him, and not be caught by a sharpened fauna, which does not like anyone climbing into a cave, was first seen in 1984. Which means that if the series were human like this, she would be starting to deal with baldness and it would hurt to get out of bed in the morning.

Thirty-seven years after the first stage, the ultimate version is to come. It will be called Boulder Dash Deluxe and, according to the creators of BBG Entertainment, is supposed to be “a real highlight in the more than 35-year existence of Boulder Dash”.

And at least on paper, it seems that the new title has at least set out not to owe anything like a big-mouthed statement. 180 new levels in 9 worlds await the player, in addition to the original cave from 1984 and one exclusive set of levels designed by Peter Liepa himself, the developer of the first Boulder Dash. Each world should have its own graphic style, and in addition, the creators have added innovations such as moving diagonally.

But … then you look at the pictures or the trailer and the enthusiasm for a possible return to childhood wears off considerably. It only takes a few seconds to watch the news, and in response to the cry of the creators about modern graphics, “My God, where?”

True, beauty lies in the eyes of the observer, so we leave it up to you to judge how well your new visual style suits you. But someone should definitely inconspicuously whisper to developers that if they present a trailer for a novelty that they want to attract potential buyers, it would be ideal if the footage from the game runs in more than three frames per second.

Whatever the outcome, Boulder Dash Deluxe will be released on September 9 on PC, Mac, Xbox One and Switch. The PlayStation version will arrive later. But if you’re one of about five people who still own an Atari ACS, you can start playing right now.
