Bluetooth headphones for players with ANC support

Brand Razer is known mainly for its gaming smartphones, but some time ago it also entered the market of bluetooth headphones. Now according to the portal GSMArena introduced new headphones Razer Opus X, which will again be intended primarily for players. They should provide advanced soundproofing technology.

Ambient noise reduction as well as low latency game mode

They cost $ 99, which is $ 100 less than the previous Razer Opus. Their sound is taken care of by 40 mm transducers in a circumaural design with large earbuds. Due to their massive appearance, they make the user well isolated from their surroundings. Progressive Active Noise Canceling (ANC) technology, which uses external microphones to detect interfering environments, will take care of that.

Of course, there is also the Quick Attention Mode, which allows you to let outside sound into the speakers in acute situations. The headphones are connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0. When the game mode is activated, the audio transmission has a latency of only 60 milliseconds, which will surely be appreciated by every mobile player. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not specify with which code.

What are the differences from the more expensive model?

Unlike the more expensive Razer Opus model, the novelty lacks THX certification. The headphones also don’t have an audio input for the cable, so you can only pair them with your smartphone wirelessly. Battery life has also been reduced from 32 to 30 hours on a single charge, but it’s still an excellent value. The headphones can currently be purchased at the manufacturer’s official store for $ 99 in green, pink and white.
