BlackBerry is trying to prepare a 5G smartphone. It opened a program for those interested

Several of you probably remember BlackBerry well. A few years ago, a company called Research in Motion (RIM for short) wanted to start dominating the smartphone market. She had a dream to reach the heights, similar to how Apple, HTC, Samsung, Motorola and LG managed to do then.

RIM has brought one of the best secured smartphones of its time. These were BlackBerry models. The technology web portal Phone Arena announces an interesting news about this brand of mobile phones.

Unfortunately, the BlackBerry has experienced something similar to Nokia. As you well know, Nokia has for many years been one of the most famous giants when it comes to mobile phone manufacturers. After years of success, however, both companies stopped thriving and were surpassed by many current technology giants.

TCL also had a less successful attempt to break into the world of smartphones, but today it produces quite successful lower and middle class devices. Despite the fact that the BlackBerry will most likely never be able to compete with, for example, Samsung or the American Apple, it tries to follow modern trends and introduce a phone that supports connection to the most modern fifth-generation (5G) mobile network.

It has long been rumored that we will see a 5G smartphone from the BlackBerry brand with a physical keyboard. We were supposed to see it in the first half of the current year. Sales were to begin in North America and Europe.

Apparently this did not happen, but now it is possible to join a program that will allow you to have a novelty in hand among the first, if its production succeeds. The company that owns the brand is interested in reviving the BlackBerry. This clearly indicates to us that the smartphone does not even have to be ready and will probably not be for a while.

Of course, it is not known at all what the potential news will be called, and we absolutely do not know what internal specifications it will be characterized by.
