Beware of another fake competition that is spreading on Facebook

Social networks are currently one of the most common places for various internet scams. A fake competition is now spreading on Facebook, attracting 50,000 euros to win on behalf of Slovenská sporiteľňa. However, its goal is to lure sensitive data from their payment card. Slovenská sporiteľňa therefore warns that this is a fraud and advises people to be careful.

He deleted the original fake Facebook page, but the fraudsters created a new one

In order to inspire people’s trust, the site copied several visual elements from the bank’s original site. Trusting people then share the fake competition and are subsequently commented on by a lot of people. Slovenská sporiteľňa has already reported a fraudulent Facebook page, which subsequently removed it.

This, of course, did not deter fraudsters and they created another within the hour. And to increase the credibility of the new site, they also created several fake profiles of the alleged winners. These fake profiles then confirm in the comments that they have really already won the account and so on.
