Battlefield 6 will arrive at Christmas, the show will be here soon -apkrig

Developers from Electronic Arts have finally commented on the expected continuation of the Battlefield series, which, according to the latest information, is due to arrive this Christmas. However, players can look forward to the upcoming performance, which will take place in the usual form soon, specifically during the spring. CEO Andrew Wilson has promised to return “total military action” with another Battlefield and has confirmed that the game will take full advantage of the hardware of the new PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles | S. It is in this direction that speculation is taking place – which we informed you about at the end of January – whether Battlefield 6 will ever arrive on the previous generation of consoles, or whether the developers from DICE will want to take risks.

“The next release of Battlefield will take all the destruction, involvement of players, vehicles and weapons for which the entire series is so well known, and take them to a whole new level,” says Electronic Arts CEO. However, it does not mention to which period we will move this time and again leaves enough room for speculation, according to which it would be after the first, respectively. World War II was to be a modern battlefield again. However, Wilson suggests that, regardless of the measures caused by the coronavirus pandemic, DICE developers are on schedule and are all well on time to complete their development on time. “I can tell you that the whole Battlefield team is doing an amazing job. Compared to previous games, they are much further than they were [ve stejném období] in previous games and are moving towards the fastest completion in the history of the entire brand, ”adds CFO Blake Jorgensen. However, there are still a lot of unanswered questions that the people of EA are hiding for a full-fledged performance, which we should see in June at the latest; most likely, however, the presentation will take place much earlier.

We will not announce anything about this brand at this time. But if you look at the history that connects us to Star Wars, it was a long and lucrative relationship.

But the Battlefield series wasn’t the only thing Electronic Arts developers commented on during the announcement of financial results for the past quarter. For example, Star Wars, which was recently discussed in connection with the loss of an exclusive license to develop games from this universe, came up for discussion. However, EA does not see the involvement of Ubisoft and potentially other studies as a problem, and Andrew Wilson confirmed that Star Wars is definitely not over. “We will not announce anything about this brand at this time. But if you look at the history that connects us to Star Wars, it was a long and lucrative relationship – first with LucasArts or Lucasfilm as part of Disney, “says Wilson. It also lists individual series and games from recent years, mentions more than 52 million Star Wars titles sold and indicates future investments.

Similarly, EA’s management is joining BioWare, which is currently working on a sequel to Dragon Age, preparing to launch remasters for the first three episodes of Mass Effect, and repairing Anthem. A number of activities would not normally send any negative signals, but the reputation of the studio has recently declined considerably due to the numerous departures of important employees, and players may be losing faith in the imaginary magicwhich BioWare bypassed years ago. However, Electronic Arts is not breaking the studio, and Wilson confirms that he is very satisfied with the upcoming plans. “I think you’ve seen a few stunts in the past in recent years, but it’s just the result of efforts to innovate and shift creativity,” said Electronic Arts CEO. He also spoke on the departure of Casey Hudson and Mark Darrah, who he described as a natural part of the gaming industry and expressed support for new general manager Samantha Ryan.

The last interesting point of the accompanying presentation on the financial results of Electronic Arts was the topic of Codemasters. The studio, best known for its racing games, will become a full-fledged part of EA in the coming weeks through a $ 1.2 billion acquisition. In terms of games, according to Andrew Wilson, this means, in particular, better promotion and all the benefits associated with a major publisher, which should be included in the series Dirt, Grid and all the others, which are also great. The involvement of Codemasters should also be reflected in the Need for Speed or Real Racing series, and the retroactivity of EA will most likely be reflected in the F1 series. Wilson indicated that he sees great potential in live service elements and the question is how widely EA will want to involve them in Codies games. But whatever the outcome, according to Wilson, players can look forward to at least one racing game each year.
