Authors of Limba attract to open world sci-fi -apkrig

The independent Danish studio Playdead has hits the hits Limbo (2010) and Inside (2016). Both were successful logical platforms with a strong stylization. The team has been attracting attention to its third game very carefully since January 2017, and so far we have learned about it that it will be some lonely sci-fi, with the proviso that it will probably use three-dimensional graphics and a 3rd person camera. Admittedly, we are waiting for the result longer than we originally thought.

It will be an open world game set in the far end of space.

In recent years, a few pictures have appeared, for example, through the studio’s recruitment advertisements. And last March, it was revealed that the news from Playdead will be released by Epic Games as part of its new publishing activities, and the developers will share exactly half and half the future profit. It is an interesting coincidence that another partner of Epic was the genDESIGN studio of the Japanese developer Fumita Ueda, which, like Playdead, has been attracting its fragments and teaser artwork to its next game for several years.

As a Playdead fan, I know very well that the community will be pleased with every other clue, so we did not miss the fact that we again received some “help” from the authors. It will be an open world game set in the far end of space. The new ad, through which the Copenhagen team is looking for a technical director, also confirms earlier information that the game will be powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine.

A speculated perspective from the perspective of a third party also applies. The authors are already tired of the limitations associated with 2D games. And it’s supposed to be a multiplatform title, so Epic as a publisher doesn’t mean the game won’t look at another device. Studio Playdead currently employs about 50 people and is looking for another 12 colleagues.

Epic emphasized that all the studios with which he has partnered will have full creative control over his project. The technology giant, on the other hand, is to provide funding and additional support. However, it will not be a coincidence that the games Limbo and Inside have appeared in the offer of free titles of the Epic Games Store in the past.
