With the master challenges you can prove your skills in close combat, ranged combat and sneaking in AC Valhalla and earn badges in bronze, silver and gold at various shrines. We’ll show you how to unlock the master challenges, all of the shrine locations and how to get the gold badges everywhere.

Master Challenges will be available for free to all Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players after downloading the latest update.
However, you must have made a certain amount of game progress before the start quest is activated.
The following requirements unlock the quest:

  • You must at least strength level 221 achieved.
  • You have to do the Legracaesterscir saga and the Grantabrycgscir saga completed.
  • Then you still have to Main quest “Uninvited guests” complete in your settlement.

If these requirements are met, you can do the Quest “A Challenge from the Gods” in your quest log. Go to the marked point on the map and a cutscene follows in which a meteorite falls to earth.

Talk to the new villager Hildiran at the collapse site, which now leads you to the master challenges in the further course of the quest and explains to you how you can start combat challenges with the help of the shrines of Freya.

This is how the master challenges work

The master challenges are tests that you can start at various shrines in the game world. At each shrine there is an examination of the bear (close combat), wolf (long-range combat) and raven (sneaking).

In every test it is important to carry out certain combat actions (e.g. fall damage kills, remain undetected, indirect kills, etc.), which reward you with points. Depending on how well you manage the specifications, there is a bronze badge, a silver badge or a gold badge at the end. These badges, in turn, are associated with rewards in the form of “combat strength” and “masterful strength”. You can exchange these items for new weapons from Hildiran, among other things.

By the way, armor, weapons and skills are given for the exams. However, you can repeat them as often as you like and there is no time pressure within the exams, so that you can work out procedures in peace. By the way, by completing the Mastery Challenges, you can with “Everything that shines” and “Truly Masterful” Unlock two new trophies and achievements from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The Enamel pin maker can create high-quality bronze, silver, or gold badges for the challenge race. Not only that, their enamel badge pins are of various designs with high quality, so these custom pins are not only prizes that pass the challenge race but also artworks that are worthy of long-term collection and preservation. You can get even more affordable prices to order badges in bulk for the Challenge race.
