Five years ago, an inconspicuous but quite well-rated piece appeared in the field of the neglected genre of stealth games. Aragami from independent Spanish filmmakers from the Lince Works studio, with its setting in feudal Japan, tried to attract all fans of ninja and sneaking. Now he is trying the same thing again, with the second part.

You will no longer have to follow a strictly silent procedure, because the authors come up with a novelty in the form of a combat system. Although your ninja has certain supernatural abilities, he can’t handle the superiority of his enemies, so it’s a good idea to deal with most of them quietly and then throw yourself into action. Fights bet on agile movements, bends and chaining of fast attacks, you will be able to block and parade enemy attacks.

The first Aragami offered players a cooperative mode for two players, in Aragami 2 you will be able to play even in three. According to the creators, two were not enough and four were too much for the conditions of a stealth adventure, while three, according to them, represent an ideal compromise, which in turn creates the desired illusion of a killer clan.

In three, you will have to tactical and divide tasks differently – one of the players can stay on the roofs and warn the others of the oncoming enemies, the other will kill them unnoticed, and the third can set out to steal the treasure needed to complete the mission.

You can also play alone, but with one character you will unlock a maximum of half of your abilities, which should encourage you to make friends and play in a group. Naturally, the solo experience will also be a bigger challenge.

Aragami 2 will be released on September 17, 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
